Designed for relaxation and connection, the home features a layout that blends architecture with nature. The first floor hosts one bedroom and a half bathroom. To reach the upper level, guests ascend stairs that surround an extraordinary in-home tree, leading to three additional bedrooms. Each of these upstairs bedrooms provides direct deck access and shares a full bathroom equipped with an in-ground soaking tub. In total, the home provides 4 bedrooms and 4 beds, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests.

The living spaces are designed for immersion in the landscape. Upon entry, you are greeted by a sunken living room with comfortable sofas, a turntable, and a stereo. The main living room offers a homey feeling with a rustic brick wall, a wood stove, a smart TV, and board games. Floor-to-ceiling windows in both living areas and large bedroom decks provide excellent wildlife watching opportunities around two big ponds. The heart of the home is the most unique and quaint kitchen you will ever see, featuring a classic brick furnace hosting the stovetop, a center island with a sink, a corner booth table, a double-door fridge, built-in double oven, electric oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave. An elegant dining table nearby offers space for six guests.

Located in a prime position, the property allows you to hear peepers and owls at night while watching fireflies and falling stars from the front porch or by the outdoor fireplace. While secluded, the home remains a short driving distance from the local attractions of Brattleboro and Wilmington.

• House Rules: Please do not climb the indoor tree or meddle with the indoor well. Guests should be aware that stairs are uneven and some ceilings are very low, requiring tall guests to duck.
