Reconnect with nature and family at Camp Jenny, an authentic vintage housekeeping cabin nestled on the peaceful Kiwassa Lake Outlet in Saranac Lake, New York. Designed for those looking to unplug and unwind, this cozy retreat offers the classic Adirondack camp lifestyle with a clean and simple space that invites a true digital detox.
This waterfront sanctuary features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 7 guests. The sleeping arrangements include two double beds in one bedroom and one double bed in the second. For additional guests, the living area includes a comfortable sleeper sofa. The interior is characterized by a welcoming living and dining room with three picture windows that frame a beautiful view of the water, a double-door wood stove for warmth, and an electric monitor heater. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooking stove and oven, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster oven, and a full set of dishes and utensils.
Outdoor living is at the heart of this experience. Guests can enjoy the waterfront from a private dock—perfect for paddling, fishing, or soaking in the sunset views—or relax on the screened porch and deck with its picnic table. A charcoal grill is available for outdoor cooking.
Located at the end of Kiwassa Lake and the beginning of the Kiwassa Outlet, guests have access to 23 miles of pristine shoreline along the Saranac Lake chain of lakes. The cabin is situated just 3 miles from the Adirondack Village of Saranac Lake and 10 miles from Lake Placid.
As this is a housekeeping cabin, no maid service is provided. Guests must bring their own linens, blankets, and towels (pillows and mattress covers are provided) and are required to leave the cabin in the same clean condition in which they arrived to avoid a $500 cleaning fee. Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Pets are welcome subject to a $150 non-refundable fee and a maximum of one pet per rental. All pets must be approved in advance, kept on a leash when outside, and must never be left unattended on the property. Proof of up-to-date immunizations and flea treatment is required upon arrival. While the cabin itself has no internet, WiFi is available within walking distance at a shared community porch for those who need to stay connected.
Experience the serene beauty and timeless charm of the Adirondacks in a space where imagination and nature take center stage.
