About Property

Discover the beauty of Shawangunk, New York, at Artist's Edge, a beautiful cottage and mountain retreat situated on two acres of old-growth forest in Ulster County. Located less than two hours from New York City, this charming house offers a lush, wooded backdrop that is perfect for a refreshing and inspiring getaway.

This home is thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to 6 guests, featuring 3 bedrooms, each with a cozy and comfortable queen-sized bed, and 1 full bathroom. The layout is crafted for both relaxation and activity, with the sleeping quarters located upstairs and the main living spaces on the first floor.

Inside, fun and creative décor fill the home. The main level boasts two living rooms with distinct vibes: one flooded with natural light from a unique round window, and a second, cozier space featuring a pellet stove and TV. The fully equipped kitchen opens into a stylish dining room accented by a large picture window. For those looking to stay active, the property includes a dedicated workout/yoga room equipped with an exercise bike and gym equipment.

Outdoor living is a highlight of the experience. Guests can relax on the front porch, surrounded by gorgeous rhododendron bushes, in a private nook featuring a propane fireplace and string lights. The exterior also offers a deck with a BBQ grill and firepit table, while the backyard provides additional seating and a second firepit for cozy evenings under the stars.

Nestled in a rural area of Pine Bush, the property is ideally located for nature lovers. Sam's Point Lookout in Minnewaska Park is under 10 minutes away, and the charming town of Ellenville is just 11 minutes from the door. New Paltz and the Accord/Kerhonkson area are approximately 20 to 30 minutes away. Due to the rural setting, a car is necessary for transportation; a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended during winter months to navigate snow and gravel roads.
