About Property

Looking for the most secluded and private place possible? Discover Serenity Point Dome, a one-of-a-kind glamping retreat perched at the tip of a private peninsula in Glenfield, New York. Surrounded by a tranquil pond and miles of forest, this sanctuary is perfect for couples seeking romance, peace, and nature—all with a touch of luxury. The owners have even been featured on ABC and Buzzfeed for their unique and exclusive vacation rentals.

Your romantic hideaway is a 24 ft geodesic dome featuring 1 bedroom with a plush king-size bed and stunning 300-degree water views. Wake up to woodland vistas from your bed and enjoy a private deck with lounge chairs. The dome is equipped with a pellet stove for cozy evenings, mood lighting, fans for summer comfort, and a mini-fridge. For your convenience, linens, towels, and toiletries are supplied.

This escape provides exclusive access to a kitchen cabin, where you can cook with a gas stove and oven, utilizing a full array of pots, pans, and a stovetop espresso maker. A compact refrigerator and drinking-water cooler are available for your use. Outside, you can enjoy the wood-or-charcoal grill and a fire pit for campfire nights.

Embrace the outdoors with a private pond all to yourself. Explore the shoreline and hidden streams with two kayaks, two paddleboats, and a rowboat. Fishing poles and tackle are provided for your enjoyment. After a day on the water, relax in the dockside wood-fired hot tub or rinse off in the heated outdoor shower overlooking the pond. The area is teeming with wildlife, including loons, otters, deer, and beavers.

Bathroom facilities include a convenience toilet inside the dome for urination and a separate rustic outhouse for bowel movements. The shower is located outdoors; there is no indoor full bathroom.

Located in an extremely secluded setting, you are surrounded by forest and water with miles of hiking right from the property. While you feel worlds away, you are only 15 minutes from restaurants and shops, and close to Tug Hill Vineyards and state parks.
