To maintain the peaceful environment, there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior permitted. For winter visits, a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended if roads are snow-covered. Exterior cameras are present for security and are only accessed if documentation is required.

CHECK-IN TIME Check-in time is any time after 3 pm. That’s because before you arrive, we need to ensure our previous guests have checked out, that the cleaning service and maintenance has been through the unit, and that linens and towels are fresh and ready for your visit. All this takes time and needs to be done before you check in. Due to this tight timeframe, we don’t allow early check ins, however we do make exceptions whenever possible if arranged beforehand. We apologize for any inconvenience.

PARKING River Haven is a stand alone unit; therefore, you will be the only guests on the premises during your stay. There is sufficient parking on the blacktop driveway.

ENTERING THE PROPERTY From the parking area, follow the sidewalk to the front door.

HOUSE RULES ● We do not allow parties in the home. ● Pets are not allowed. ●Please do not enter bedrooms that will not be used during your stay. We want to keep them clean for the next guests. ● No smoking on premises. ● No illegal substances are allowed. ● No food or drinks in the bedrooms. ● No candles or other open flames. ● Please turn off most of the lights when you leave. Leave a few lights on. ● Please take off your shoes when inside the home. ● Please be sure to put all trash in the trash dumpster. ● Please close and lock all windows and doors when you leave the property. ● Please only throw toilet paper in the toilet; there is a trash can beside it for everything else. ● If you break or damage something, please let us know and together we can arrange for its replacement or repair.

LINENS If you need any additional towels or sheets during your stay, feel free to use the washer and dryer whenever needed. ● Bath Towels: You can find the extra bath towels in each of the bathrooms. ● Sheets: There are extra sheets and linens in the cabinet outside the bathroom door. ● Kitchen Towels: Kitchen towels are in a drawer in the kitchen.

TV ●There is a smart TV in the TV room. ●Washer and dryer: Feel free to use the washer and dryer. Detergent and fabric softener are provided.

DEPARTURE ●Please make sure the dishes are cleaned before you leave. ● Please put all wet towels and wash clothes in the clothes bag in the utility room. DO NOT PUT THEM ON BEDS! ●Please strip the beds that were used and put the sheets on a pile on the beds. ●When you leave, please make sure the temp is set at 72 degrees.
