Escape from the city life and discover Silkys Farmhouse, a unique country retreat situated on five acres in Moyock, North Carolina. This beautiful home is designed to warm your heart and make you feel relaxed and comfortable, offering a peaceful sanctuary just a few minutes from the Outer Banks corridor (Highway 168).

The interior features an open concept layout with a large kitchen, family room, and a sunroom that serves as a dining area. Upon entering, you will be greeted by striking cathedral ceilings and a large sunroom that leads directly to the stunning outdoor courtyard. The home consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Bedroom one is furnished with a queen bed and a twin daybed with a trundle. Bedroom two features a full bed and a twin daybed with a trundle, and includes an additional half bathroom. While the property can sleep up to 8 guests, please note that the bedrooms are smaller in size and the fit is tight; a group of 6 will find the space more comfortable.

The outdoor experience is a highlight of this property. The beautiful side yard and courtyard are adorned with whimsical colorful art and a fairy garden tucked under a large oak tree. For the children, a paper scavenger hunt is provided to find "critters" throughout the gardens. Adults can enjoy the grilling area equipped with a propane gas grill, a picnic table, a wood fire pit with surrounding chairs, an outdoor bar, and a covered carport and dining area illuminated by café lights, creating a beautiful atmosphere under the stars.

Located in a rural setting, the farmhouse is close to various points of interest. Boat ramps for Tulls Bay, Northwest River, or the Currituck Sound are within a few miles, and the Outer Banks (OBX) bridge is a 30-mile drive. Local restaurants, shops, and grocery stores are within 4-8 miles.

• Guest Access: Full access to the house and courtyard; the backyard barn is off-limits
• Note: The property is accessed via a dirt road; please avoid driving on the grass as it can become mushy after rain.
• A small starter pack of coffee filters, toiletries, and paper products is provided. Please bring your own ice or use the provided trays as there is no ice maker.
• Being surrounded by farmland and woods, guests should be aware that insects and wildlife are common in the area.
