Whether you are reconnecting with old friends, making memories with your partner, or simply unplugging from the everyday, this retreat is where connection happens. Spend your days sipping your way through world-class wineries and exploring some of the best state parks in the country, then end your evenings gathered around the fire pit with the people who matter most.

Designed for ease and accessibility, the cottage is situated on a single level. The layout features 2 bedrooms, each furnished with a king bed, and 1 full bathroom, allowing the space to sleep 4 guests comfortably. For personalized comfort, each bedroom is equipped with its own individual mini-split AC/heat unit.

The heart of the home is the expansive wine and coffee bar, complete with a Keurig coffee maker. You will also find a full kitchen stocked with all the essentials, featuring a dining table with seating for 4. For entertainment and connectivity, the unit includes a Roku Smart TV and high-speed WiFi.

Beyond the cottage, guests can enjoy the 7-acre property, which operates as a 6-unit micro-resort. Outdoor highlights include a private fire pit area with solar string lights that activate automatically at dusk, as well as shared access to a hammock, lawn games like corn hole and ladder toss, and open green space. Plenty of parking is available directly in front of the unit.

Location is everything at The Cork Cottage. Situated directly on Route 414, you are within 15 minutes of over 15 wineries. Local restaurants and breweries in Hector and Burdett are just 8 minutes away, while Lodi Point State Park is only 5 minutes from your door. Further excursions include Watkins Glen State Park (20 minutes), Geneva (30 minutes), and Ithaca (40 minutes).

Practical Information & Rules:

• Check-in: 4:00 PM
• Check-out: 10:00 AM
• Pets: Dogs are allowed; however, as these are duplex units, please only bring dogs you are confident will not bark. Dogs must be crated if left alone in the unit.
• Water: The property uses well water; a Brita purifier is provided to mitigate natural mineral scents.
• Noise: Due to the location on Route 414, light sleepers may wish to bring earplugs.
• Firewood: Not provided; available at local roadside stands or Fastrac in Ovid.
• Maintenance: Lawn care typically occurs Thursdays from 10am–3pm.
