Welcome to The Bee's Knees, a cozy and charming dog-friendly beach cottage designed for a comfortable and fun getaway in Oak Island, North Carolina. This fully updated, one-story retreat captures the perfect coastal vibe and is located just a brief 15-minute walk or a quick 2-minute drive from the ocean.

This inviting home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests. The sleeping arrangements are designed for maximum comfort, with all beds featuring memory foam mattresses. The master suite offers a queen bed, a desk, a dresser, and an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, granite-top vanity, and a generous walk-in closet. The second bedroom also features a queen bed and its own closet. For groups and families, the third bedroom is equipped with two sets of twin bunk beds, complete with pocket organizers for personal items.

Living spaces are thoughtfully designed, including a living room with a cathedral ceiling, gas log fireplace, and a 50" smart TV. The fully stocked kitchen is a chef's delight with stainless steel appliances, a KitchenAid mixer, and a variety of specialized cookware. Guests can enjoy meals in the dining area which seats seven, or head to the screened-in patio that can accommodate an additional eight people. Outside, you will find a shaded backyard surrounded by a 6-foot fence and beautiful live oak trees.

While the structured amenities list is currently being updated, the home provides essential comforts including high-speed 600 mbps WiFi, smart TVs, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor shower with a dog wash sprayer. For beach days, the owners provide a beach cart, chairs, totes, and boogie boards. Bicycles and board games are also available for entertainment.

Located on SE 5th, the cottage is conveniently positioned 0.7 miles from the beach via the Middleton Rd access or the SE 9th footbridge. For those looking to explore, a street-legal six-passenger electric golf cart is available for rental (additional fees apply; minimum age 23).

• Pets: Allowed (Must be booked in advance; $180 pet fee applies)
• House Rules: Strictly no smoking or vaping on the property. No parties or events. Maximum occupancy is 8 guests overnight.
• Requirements: A copy of a license and a signed rental agreement are required within 24 hours of booking. A $500 security deposit hold is applied 2 days before arrival.
• Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM per town ordinances.
• Thermostat Restrictions: AC no lower than 68°F; Heat no higher than 75°F.
