Experience the magic of the mountains at Shenandoah Sunrise, a gorgeous, family and pet-friendly cabin located near the very top of a mountain in McGaheysville, Virginia. This absolutely beautiful log home offers amazing year-round views of Massanutten, the Shenandoah Valley, and the Blue Ridge Mountains from nearly every room in the house, making it the perfect backdrop for spectacular sunrises and sunsets.

Designed for large groups, the home features 5 bedrooms, 5 beds, and 4 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests. The layout includes two primary suites: one on the main floor with a 4-post queen bed, walk-in closet, and direct deck access; and a second upstairs suite with a queen bed and walk-in closet. Additional sleeping arrangements include a bedroom with two twin beds, a room with two pyramid bunk beds (twin over double), and a remodeled basement bedroom with a queen bed.

The interior is a spacious retreat featuring wood floors, walls, and ceilings with exposed beams. The heart of the home is the living room, centered around a massive 30-foot-tall stone gas log fireplace (available October 1 through March 31). Guests can relax on wide window seats or head to the open loft library. For dining and entertainment, the home boasts a big gourmet kitchen with a wet bar, wine cooler, and breakfast bar, alongside a dining area that seats 12. The lower level is dedicated to fun, featuring a game room with a pool table, air hockey, and foosball, plus an exercise bike and a cozy sitting room.

Located just a 5-minute drive from the ski lodge, this property is situated within the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA) community. It is within walking distance of several other vacation homes, including Blue Ridge Overlook, Acorn Lodge, Peak Retreat, and Stone Splendor.

Practical details include check-in at 4:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 PM to 7 AM. Parking is restricted to the property or designated shoulders; buses, campers, and RVs are not permitted at the house. Please note that minimum stay requirements apply: 4 nights for Thanksgiving, Christmastime through New Year's Day, and JMU Graduation, and 3 nights for other holidays. A Ring camera is installed by the front door for security.
