Location and Neighborhood: Located 20 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, Fripp Island is a gated, private island spanning about six and a half square miles. As the most seaward of the Sea Islands, its views are truly unlike anywhere else in the region. The island is home to two championship golf courses, five pool complexes, 12 pickleball courts, 6 tennis courts, and three and a half miles of uninterrupted beach. A full-service deep-water marina offers bicycle, paddleboard, kayak, boat, and golf cart rentals. Fripp Island is also a designated wildlife sanctuary — you're very likely to spot whitetail deer and other amazing wildlife as you enter through the island gates. Springtide Market and Deli, located near the guard gate, stocks groceries, grab-and-go items, beach accessories, liquor, and all the essentials you might need for a longer stay.
