Love games and family fun, and want to see the New River Gorge National Park too? Come to the Game House! This recently renovated retreat in Oak Hill is the perfect place to make memories, blending state-of-the-art HVAC and modern updates with whimsical, game-inspired decor throughout.

Sleeping arrangements feature 1 bedroom with a king size bed featuring memory foam for a restful night. To accommodate more guests, the home can host up to 6 people, utilizing two cots with comfortable memory foam toppers and game-themed playable blanket games located in the living room (or they can be moved into the master bedroom).

The home is a playground for all ages. In the living area, enjoy a 75-inch smart TV, Nintendo Switch, and BluRay player, all surrounded by custom art and Clue characters on the walls. The master bedroom continues the theme with a giant playable Operation and wall-mounted Connect 4, Scrabble, and Pictionary. For the ultimate challenge, try the tiny Battleship-themed escape room, complete with a treasure chest and QR code hints. A massive closet houses several hundred games, ranging from pre-school activities to options for serious board gamers.

The kitchen is well-appointed for any meal, featuring custom countertops depicting New River Gorge landmarks, an induction oven, dishwasher, microwave, and an electric kettle with a pour-over coffee setup. The bathroom is freshly remodeled with a full shower, tub, and a fun LED color-changing shower head. Step outside to a small deck and yard equipped with a BBQ grill, fire pit, and a life-sized game of NRG-OPOLY where your family acts as the playing pieces.

Located in the heart of Oak Hill, you are within walking distance of local favorites like Tudor's Biscuit World, The Frozen Barn, and gaming shops Retro Reset and Jade Tiger Games. Adventure awaits just minutes away, with the Ace Adventure waterpark a 10-minute drive and the breathtaking New River Gorge National Park only 15 minutes away for hiking, rafting, and zip lining.
