The main-level bedroom serves as a master suite with a queen bed and private bathroom. On the lower level, a second suite offers a king bed, HDTV, and its own private bathroom. For additional flexibility, the open upstairs loft functions as a third sleeping area with a queen bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and a full bathroom. A fourth sleeping area is provided by a queen sleeper sofa located in the lower-level game room.

The heart of the home is the main level, where an open kitchen and dining area boast vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings and exposed beams. The cozy living room is anchored by a gas Buck Stove and an HDTV, perfect for chilly mountain evenings. Entertainment abounds in the downstairs game room, which is equipped with a pool table, Xbox One, and HDTV. For a touch of nostalgia, the loft features a two-seat arcade machine with 50 different games.

Outdoor living is a highlight of the Riverside Retreat experience. Guests can relax in the private hot tub within a covered courtyard facing the river, gather around the fire pit, or enjoy the open-air deck featuring Adirondack-style chairs, a large outdoor dining table, and a gas grill. A covered porch offers peaceful views of the river and distant mountains. A downhill walk leads to a large, flat, grassy opening ideal for various outdoor activities.

Located just minutes from downtown Boone, the retreat provides easy access to regional attractions. It is less than 14 miles to Blowing Rock, under 25 miles to Banner Elk, and 20 miles from Valle Crucis. Adventure seekers will appreciate the proximity to Appalachian Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, and Grandfather Mountain.

Practical details include central heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a washer and dryer. The home is pet-friendly for dogs, with applicable pet fees. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Please note that guests must be at least 25 years of age to book this property. Firewood is available for purchase upon request after booking.
