About Property

Dreaming of a lakeside retreat in the mountains? Discover the Allendale Log Cabin, a stunning waterfront escape in Fleetwood, North Carolina, perfectly positioned between Boone and West Jefferson.

This authentic log cabin is designed for small families and groups, comfortably sleeping five guests. The layout features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom is located on the upper level and includes a king bed, a private bathroom, and its own TV. On the main level, you will find a large second bedroom equipped with three twin beds. For additional accommodations, the upstairs loft provides a twin-size futon.

Experience the rustic charm of the main level, which boasts a soaring A-frame cathedral ceiling and a fully wooden interior. The great room invites you to curl up on a comfortable L-shaped couch in front of the wood-burning stone fireplace, while large windows and glass-paneled doors offer stunning views of the natural surroundings. An open floor plan seamlessly connects the living, kitchen, and dining areas. The upper level also features a loft, perfect for quiet reading or journaling at the provided desk.

Outdoor living is a highlight of this property. The deck features comfortable rocking chairs for enjoying indescribably gorgeous fall foliage or winter snow, along with a charcoal grill and picnic table. A gravel path leads to an outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs, perfect for roasting marshmallows. Guests also enjoy direct access to Fleetwood Falls Lake and the South Fork of the New River for swimming, paddling, and catch-and-release fishing in the stocked pond.

Located in a private community, you are only 10 minutes from Todd and river outfitters. West Jefferson is just over 20 minutes away, offering galleries, dining, and the Old Barn Winery.
