About Property

Discover a unique experience in one of the most iconic buildings in Historic Roscoe Village! Located in Coshocton, Ohio, this charming second-floor apartment is housed within the restored Roscoe Hotel, a landmark dating back to circa 1856. Originally a canal era building, this historic site served as a stagecoach stop and is believed to have been part of the Underground Railroad, making it far more than an ordinary rental.

This specific apartment occupies the space where the original hotel lobby was first located. The layout features one bedroom with a king size bed, one bathroom, and a living/dining room. The space is designed to keep historical integrity alive, featuring original plaster walls with character-adding cracks and stunning wood floors from trees dating back as far as the 1600s.

While the property preserves its 19th-century soul, guests can enjoy modern conveniences. The apartment includes a full kitchen and a full bathroom. For entertainment and connectivity, the space is equipped with high-speed internet and television options including Roku and Direct TV. The unit uses a shared heating and cooling system to ensure a comfortable temperature year-round.

Located in the heart of Historic Roscoe Village, the property is in a very walkable area. Once you have parked in the dedicated gravel lot behind the building, you can explore the entire village on foot. You are just steps away from shopping, dining, and two wonderful bars. Nearby attractions include the beautiful trails of Lake Park, Clary Gardens, and the Coshocton Visitors Bureau located directly across the street. For those venturing further, Amish Country is a short drive away, and downtown Coshocton is only two minutes away.
