Discover the perfect mountain escape at Lazy Bear Lodge, a spacious and family-friendly log home nestled in the beauty of Lake Lure, North Carolina. Whether you are visiting to see the legendary autumn colors, the spring dogwood blooms, or the broad winter views, this home provides a welcoming sanctuary for every season.

Designed for group comfort, the residence features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, accommodating up to 10 guests. Each of the three bedrooms is large and equipped with a new king-size bed. For additional flexibility, a bonus loft area accessible via a spiral staircase contains two queen-size beds, making it a fun camp spot for kids or a dedicated workspace. Please note that the spiral staircase and loft are not suitable for small children and may require close monitoring.

The heart of the home is the first-floor main living area, boasting vaulted ceilings and a cozy gas fireplace. The gourmet kitchen is perfect for gathering, featuring custom cabinetry, solid-surface countertops, and modern appliances including a double oven, stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Dining is effortless with a large table seating 10 and additional seating for four at the kitchen bar.

Entertainment abounds in the finished walkout lower level. This expansive game room is ideal for family fun, featuring a pool table, card table, and a variety of board games. This level also includes a second den, a third full bathroom, and a laundry room. Outside, a deck spans the entire back of the home for wildlife watching, complemented by a screened-in porch and a new fire pit for roasting marshmallows under the stars.

Located in the serene Lake Lure area, guests are just a mile from the Rumbling Bald Resort, where they can enjoy a sandy beach, lazy river, golf courses, and tennis courts. The lodge is also conveniently situated 10.5 miles from the Lake Lure beach and 11.5 miles from Chimney Rock State Park.

Practical details include a 4:00 PM check-in and a 10:00 AM check-out. Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles, including access to two one-car garages. Smoking is strictly prohibited. Please note that this is a pet-free property—no pets, no exceptions.
