From the moment you pass through the gate and travel up the picturesque oak and apple tree-lined driveway, greeted by friendly barn cats and Ginny hens, you'll feel the worries of everyday life slip away.

This serene retreat is thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The home features 2 bedrooms, each equipped with a queen bed, 1 bathroom, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The upstairs bedrooms are highlighted by fantastic picture windows offering scenic views; one includes a dedicated guest workspace and a cozy sitting area perfect for a quiet morning with a book. Please be aware that while the bedrooms are private, a ceiling passthrough means they are not completely soundproof.

Inside, you will find a cozy and modern living room with comfortable furniture, a dining table, and a wall-mounted Roku big-screen TV. The gourmet kitchen is a true delight, boasting elegant granite countertops, a commercial-grade range, a high island, multiple prep sinks, and breathtaking views. For a touch of luxury, the downstairs bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and glass block windows that flood the space with natural light.

Outside, the property is a haven of beauty. Guests are welcome to explore the various flowers, bushes, and fruit trees, or relax in the outdoor hangout space by the fire pit under stunning night skies. For your convenience, there is also a gas grill and an outdoor dining area.

Located in a prime spot for nature lovers, the guest house is just 15 minutes from Athens and Ohio University. Within a 20-30 minute drive, you can explore Strouds Run State Park, Lake Hope, and Zaleski State Forest, while Hocking Hills State Park is less than an hour away via a lovely drive down Route 56. The town of Albany, featuring Three Folds Roasters for locally roasted coffee, is only 5 minutes away.

Practical Information:

• Check-in: 4:00 PM
• Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Pets: Allowed (must be treated for fleas, ticks, and heartworms). A nightly per-pet fee of $30 applies. Pets must be leashed when exploring the homestead outside of the dedicated large fenced-in meadow.
• Policies: Additional guest fees may apply based on group size. A $100 fee plus shipping is charged for any items left behind and requiring mail-back service.
