Hibernation Station House Rules

Welcome to Hibernation Station! 🏔️

We’re thrilled to share our mountain retreat with you. These rules apply to all reservations, regardless of booking platform, and are designed to keep our home safe, peaceful and enjoyable for our guests, neighbors and future visitors.

✨ Reservation & Guest Information

• The primary guest making the reservation must be staying at the property for the duration of the reservation. Third-party bookings are not permitted unless approved in advance or otherwise permitted through the applicable booking platform.
• The primary guest must provide accurate reservation and contact information and remain available for reasonable communication with the host before and during the stay.
• When requested, guests must confirm the purpose of their visit, total number of overnight guests and any pets accompanying them.
• Only registered guests included on the reservation are permitted to stay overnight. Maximum occupancy is 7 guests.
• Any changes to the number of guests or pets must be approved before arrival.

Guest Verification

For the safety and security of our home, additional guest information or verification may be requested where permitted, particularly for reservations with limited booking history.

Guests must provide accurate information and respond to reasonable pre-arrival verification requests. Any additional verification requirements, reservation decisions or cancellations will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the policies, terms and cancellation provisions of the platform through which the reservation was made.

Guests must also comply with any identity or verification requirements imposed directly by their booking platform.

Required pre-arrival guest information and acknowledgment of these House Rules must be completed prior to arrival. Check-in and smart-lock access information is normally provided approximately 48 hours before arrival, once applicable pre-arrival requirements have been completed.

🏡 General

• Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM unless otherwise approved in writing.
• Self check-in is provided via smart lock.
• No parties or events.
• Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–8:00 AM. Please be respectful of our neighbors and the peaceful mountain setting.
• Maximum overnight occupancy is 7 guests.
• Please remove shoes while indoors.
• Commercial activities, events, parties or gatherings beyond the registered guest group require prior written approval.

🐾 Pets

• Up to 2 dogs are welcome with the applicable pet fee and must be included on the reservation.
• Additional or unregistered pets are not permitted without prior approval and may result in additional charges where permitted.
• Please keep pets off furniture or use the provided furniture covers.
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets outdoors. 🦴 Waste bags and an outdoor bin are provided.
• Pets should not be left unattended in the home unless safely crated. An XL crate with divider is provided for guest use.
• Guests are responsible for pet-related damage, excessive cleaning or accidents not covered by applicable damage protection.

🔥 Safety & Amenities

• The gas fireplace is gas only. Never place wood, paper or other materials inside.
• No candles or other open flames indoors.
• Hot tub and sauna are used at guests' own risk. Children must be appropriately supervised.
• No glass in or around the hot tub or sauna.
• Please turn off the propane and clean the grill after use.
• No fireworks, firearms or ATVs may be used on the property.
• Do not tamper with smoke detectors, carbon-monoxide detectors, security devices, smart-home equipment or other safety equipment.
• Please follow all posted instructions and safety guidance for the hot tub, sauna, fireplace, grill and other amenities.

🚭 Smoking & Vaping

• No smoking or vaping inside the home.
• Smoking and vaping are permitted outdoors only.
• Please dispose of cigarette/cigar waste safely and never discard it on the property or surrounding wooded areas.

🧺 Checkout

Before departing, we kindly ask that you:

• Start the dishwasher on the Express cycle.
• Place all trash in the designated outdoor bin.
• Place used towels in the washing machine and start a wash cycle.
• Pull used sheets and comforters to the base of each bed.
• If the Pack 'n Play or pull-out sofa was used, place those sheets in the laundry basket in the laundry room.
• Please let us know if the Pack 'n Play was used so it can receive the appropriate cleaning and sanitizing before our next guests arrive.
• Make sure doors and windows are closed and locked when departing.

🏔️ Property Care & Damage

Please treat Hibernation Station with the same care you would your own home.

Our damage waiver is intended for qualifying accidental damage. It does not cover smoking, intentional or negligent damage, unreported incidents, violations of these House Rules, pet damage or pet accidents.

Please report any damage, spills, breakage or maintenance issue promptly. Accidents happen, and early notification often allows us to resolve an issue quickly and prevent additional damage.

💛 Guest Acknowledgment

By booking and staying at Hibernation Station, the primary guest accepts responsibility for ensuring that everyone in their party follows these House Rules.

Required pre-arrival information and acknowledgment of these House Rules are completed through our secure guest portal. Access information is provided in accordance with the terms and requirements applicable to the reservation and booking platform.
