House Rules 🏡

We’re so glad you’re here! To help everyone have the best experience possible, we ask that you please review and follow the house rules below. Nothing wild—just good neighbor vibes and a little common courtesy.

👂 Quiet Hours Please be mindful of our upstairs neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10pm–8am, every day of the week. Think soft voices, no stomping elephants, and good nighttime energy.

🚭 No Smoking Indoors Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the home. A $1000 fee will be charged if there’s evidence of smoking indoors. If you light up outside, that’s fine—just be sure to fully dispose of any remnants in the container located on the deck railing. The only thing we want left behind is good memories.

🐶 No Pets We love animals—but this space is a pet-free zone. Thanks for understanding!

🎉 No Parties or Extra Guests This home is just for the guests listed on the reservation. No parties, events, or unregistered visitors allowed. If we find unlisted guests, there will be a $125 per guest, per night charge.

🚗PARKING You’ve got 1 private garage spot—nice, right? Parking instructions will be sent with your check-in instructions.
‼️**IMPORTANT - Additional vehicles are never allowed to be parked in the alley in front of the garage entrance. This is not only a safety hazard, but restricts our awesome neighbors from using their side of the garage - YOU WILL BE TOWED😬. I'm happy to register your vehicle with the city for a small fee so you can also park on the street - just reach out to me directly.

🛋️ Outdoor Furniture Please return outdoor couch cushions to their storage container when not in use. The weather in Ohio likes surprises—let’s keep the cushions cozy.

🗑️ Trash Trash bins are located in the back alleyway. If you're unsure where, just ask!

🛏️ Bedrooms No eating or drinking in the bedrooms, please—we’re trying to keep the sheets snack-free.

🔥The indoor fireplaces inside the unit are NOT operable or suitable for use

⏰ Check-In / Check-Out • Check-in: 4:00 PM • Check-out: 10:00 AM • Early check-in and late check-out are by request only and subject to availability. • Check-out is at 10:00 AM. Any departure after 10:30 AM without prior approval will incur a late check-out fee of $200, with additional charges of $200 per hour or any portion of an hour thereafter.

🪑 Furniture & Damage Please don’t rearrange the furniture, and please take care of the furnishings—we want future guests to enjoy them too. You’ll be responsible for any damages.

🚫 No Illegal Activity No illegal substances or activities allowed on the property. Pretty straightforward, but worth saying!

-🔥 Fire Pit Rules -Please never leave the fire unattended and always extinguish completely before leaving the area or going to bed. -Only burn firewood — no trash, plastic, or other materials. -🧯An Outdoor fire extinguisher is mounted on the side wall of the deck stairs. Only use in case of emergencies.
-Avoid using the fire pit on windy days or during local burn bans (check signage or ask if unsure). -A fire extinguisher and/or water source is provided under the kitchen sink — please locate it before lighting a fire. -Do not attempt move the fire pit or surrounding furniture

• Please keep furniture at a safe distance from an active fire pit. -Keep the area clean and free of debris at all times. -Be mindful of noise and neighbors when enjoying the fire, especially during quiet hours (10pm–8am). -Use the fire pit at your own risk — by lighting a fire, you accept responsibility for your safety and actions.

💬 Final Note This is our home—not a hotel—and we’ve poured a lot of love into it. Please treat it with the same care and respect you’d want for your own. The cleaning crew is here to refresh linens and tidy bathrooms—not to tackle major messes or pick up excessive trash. If damage or a big cleanup is left behind, your group may be held responsible.
