About Property

Discover the perfect nature getaway at 'The Woods,' a beautifully updated retreat nestled within the serene landscape of Narrin Farms in Groveland Township, Michigan. Originally built as a farm garage over half a century ago, this home is positioned closest to the woods, making it the ideal choice for guests wanting to be fully immersed in the peaceful outdoors.

The home is designed for comfort and relaxation, accommodating up to 6 guests. The layout features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The sleeping arrangements include a queen bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the second, with additional sleeping space provided by a sofa bed in the main seating area.

Inside, you will find a spacious, open main floor featuring a well-stocked kitchen, dining area, coffee bar, and an electric fireplace. For entertainment, there is a dedicated room equipped with a large sectional couch, television, and a fuse ball table. This room features an expansive glass garage door that opens onto a wrap-around deck complete with outdoor seating and a Weber charcoal grill. Just steps from the front door, guests can unwind in the private six-person hot tub, or gather around the bonfire pit located just south of the deck.

Beyond the home, guests have access to 56 acres of farm and woodland. Explore miles of forested hiking paths that lead to Narrin Lake, a private-access, spring-fed lake. Here, you can enjoy fishing (with a license) or kayaking using one of the eight provided kayaks. You are also welcome to visit the barnyard crew—including mini donkeys, sheep, cows, pigs, and chickens—from behind the fences, or schedule a meet-and-greet to pet and brush the animals and meet the resident horses.

Located in a rural area with a genuine country atmosphere, the property offers a quiet 'Up North' feel while remaining accessible. You are only an hour north of Detroit and an hour south of Frankenmuth, and within 20-30 minutes of hot spots in Clarkston, Holly, Lake Orion, and Metamora. Local amenities, including a 24-hour grocery store and restaurants, are just a few miles away.
