Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and refunds are dependent on the timeframe in which guests request to cancel. Guests who wish to cancel within 48 hours of their initial booking will receive a Full Refund. Cancellations initiated up to 60 days prior to check-in will receive a 50% Refund except fees. Finally, any cancellations completed within 60 days of check-in will receive No Refund for their stay.

Certain extenuating circumstances may apply to accepting cancellations outside of these terms. In these cases it is up to the discretion of the owner of the property or the following severe weather policy below. For all inquiries regarding extenuating circumstances please contact the Town & Island Co. property management team via your preferred booking app or email.

Sever Weather Policy

Our severe weather and Extenuating Circumstances: Hurricane Policy is as follows:

If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC specifically for the county in which your property is located for the dates of your stay, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect. In this case we Will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest and we shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation.

However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is Not issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued. This is the case even if the guest chooses to cancel or travel is disrupted due to the storm.

Additionally, if there is adverse weather phenomenon outside of Charleston or SC (ie. other regions of the US or abroad) during the dates of the guests' stay which hinders the guests from traveling to the property, the standard cancellation policy will still apply. Therefore, a refund will Not be issued.

Hurricane season is during the months of June-November. During this time we recommend guests research and purchase travel insurance.
