Experience the perfect getaway at these lakefront retreats on Manistee Lake in Kalkaska, Michigan. This unique rental features two separate cabins—Forrest's Cabin and Vivian's Cabin—located next door to each other and sharing a common driveway. It provides a great setting for two families, an extended family, or a large group to come together as a common group while still maintaining their own private space.

The property offers a flexible layout across the two cottages. Each individual cabin is equipped with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. Together, the two cabins provide a total of 4 bedrooms, 4 beds, and 2 bathrooms, with sleeping capacity for up to 11 adults (6 guests at Forrest's Cabin and 5 guests at Vivian's Cabin).

Enjoy the natural beauty of Kalkaska, where these cabins serve as a peaceful base for your group activities. Please note that water toys such as kayaks, boats, or paddleboards are not provided and should be brought or rented separately. We also recommend bringing plenty of bug spray for your outdoor adventures.

Practical Information & Rules:

• Check-in: 4:00 PM
• Check-out: 11:00 AM (Late check-outs are strictly prohibited due to a structured cleaning schedule)
• Pet Policy: Up to 3 dogs are permitted provided they are included on the reservation and the pet fee is paid. Other pets are strictly prohibited.
• House Rules: No smoking and no parties. Guests are asked to remove their shoes while inside.
• Climate: There is no air conditioning; the house may get warm during the summer.
• Firewood: Not provided.
• Trash: Pickup is Monday morning; bins must be placed at the end of the driveway by Sunday night.
• Dock Usage: The dock system is strictly rated for watercraft under 250 lbs. Mooring vessels exceeding this weight or leaving any craft tied during severe weather is prohibited. Guests are fully liable for any damage, with a minimum repair fee of $200. Please inspect the dock upon arrival and report any pre-existing damage immediately.
