Serenity on the Sound – House Rules

We’re so happy to welcome you to our condo! Our mission is to help you create beautiful memories during your stay. To ensure everyone has a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience, we ask that you please review and confirm these house rules within 48 hours of booking. If, for any reason, you cannot follow them, you may cancel penalty-free (we have a Strict Cancellation policy).

General Courtesy-- Please respect our condo as you would your own home.

No parties, events, or unregistered overnight guests.

Keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.

Do not rearrange furniture.

Leave the home tidy upon departure and remove all trash the morning you check out.

Storage & Access-- Tampering with or accessing locked owner closets and cabinets is strictly prohibited. These areas contain personal items and cleaning supplies and are off-limits to guests. Any evidence of tampering will result in additional fees and may lead to immediate removal from the property.

Tampering with or disabling the Ring camera, WiFi system, or Smartlock gateway is strictly prohibited. Doing so will not only prevent access to the condo but will also result in immediate cancellation of the reservation and removal of all guests from the property.

Cleanliness

Keep sand outside. Please rinse shoes and beach gear before entering.

Return beach chairs, umbrella, and tennis equipment clean and in working order.

Return the indoor pool/hot tub key to the sea turtle hooks by the door.

Do not leave belongings in the shared outdoor walkway.

Please respect the supplies provided in the coffee bar and bathroom. Enjoy them during your stay, but leave behind what is unused so future guests can enjoy them too.

Smoking, Alcohol & Substances

No smoking or vaping inside the condo. Extra cleaning fees apply for odors or stains.

Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited. Authorities will be contacted and guests will be asked to vacate immediately if suspected.

Parking & Bikes

Parking is $25 per vehicle (maximum 2 vehicles), payable upon arrival at the gate. This is for the length of your stay.

Parking is unassigned; no trailers, kayaks, or canoes are permitted.

No commercial signage or advertising on vehicles parked overnight.

Bikes must be stored in designated racks. E-bikes are not permitted by the Association.

Food & Kitchen

Occasionally, unopened consumables (condiments or snacks) may be left by prior guests. We check for freshness, but consumption is at your discretion. We do not assume responsibility for these items.

💙 Lastly, this is our family’s home when we’re in Hilton Head. Please treat it with care so future guests (and we) can enjoy it too.
