About Property

Discover a peaceful escape at the Kodiak Cabin, a charming and traditional log cabin located within the serene Twin Birch Resort in Honor, Michigan. Nestled on the shores of Little Platte Lake, this getaway is designed for those seeking a fun, peaceful, and relaxing retreat in a classic woodland setting.

The cabin is thoughtfully arranged to accommodate your group, featuring 3 bedrooms and 3 beds, providing a comfortable sleeping environment for up to 6 guests. The layout is completed by 1 bathroom, ensuring a cozy and intimate atmosphere throughout the home.

While maintaining its rustic log cabin soul, the property is technologically updated to keep you connected and entertained. Guests can enjoy high-speed internet and live streaming via Roku television, with cable-equivalent stations available through the Spectrum streaming app. To keep the air moving, fans are provided throughout the cabin, though please note that the property does not have air conditioning.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the full access to Little Platte Lake. The rental includes its own rowboat and kayak for exploring the waters. Additionally, guests have access to a shared dock and firepit, which are enjoyed by the four cabins on the resort premises. Please be aware that due to seasonal weather constraints, all outdoor amenities—including the dock, firepit, and boats—are guaranteed for availability from June 1 through September 30.

Located in a prime spot for exploration, the resort is just 4.6 miles from the beautiful Peterson Beach on Lake Michigan. For those looking for activity, pickleball courts are conveniently located at Village Park in Beulah and Market Square Park in Frankfort. Guests are welcome to bring or rent boat motors (10 horsepower or less, short shaft) from Crystal Lake Marina in Honor or Beulah, as Little Platte Lake is very shallow.
