Welcome to our historic home in Indianapolis, Indiana, where you can experience a unique blend of character and comfort. We are so excited to share this special space with you, offering a wonderful setting to create lasting memories.
This home is designed for relaxation and functionality, featuring 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, and 2 bathrooms, with enough space for up to 4 guests to hang out comfortably. For those who need to stay productive during their visit, one of the bedrooms includes an attached office, providing a dedicated area to get some work done.
While the home provides a cozy interior, the outdoor spaces are truly exceptional. You can unwind on the front porch, which is one of our favorite spots to relax, or head to the fenced-in backyard to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub. Please note that while there is an apartment located out back, those residents enter through the alley and remain in a separate, fenced-in space, ensuring your privacy.
Located in the Herron–Morton Place Historic District, the property is surrounded by stunning late 19th- and early 20th-century residential architecture. The neighborhood is known for its spacious feeling, particularly on streets like New Jersey Street, which still retains its original esplanades. You will be just minutes from downtown and within walking distance of local favorites including Bocca, Baby’s, Loco, The Foundry Coffee shop, Liftoff Ice Cream, Sushi, and Mashcraft Brewery.
As this home is 132 years old, it possesses a distinct character that we truly love. Please keep in mind that it is a little creaky, the floors show some wear, and there are a few quirks here and there. It is not perfect, but its historic soul is part of its charm.
