Welcome to your The Neighborhood Hotel travel apartment. We’re so excited to host you in the best Neighborhood in Chicago!

So, this is our Rental Agreement that governs (a) yourReservation with us (which we’ll call the “Reservation”), (b) our cancellationpolicy, (c) the fees associated with violating our rules, and (d) the otherterms and conditions governing your stay with us at one of our “Rental Units.”For convenience, we’ll refer to this Agreement throughout as either the “RentalAgreement” or, simply, the “Agreement.” Also, we’ll refer to ourselves (whichincludes our employees, officers, and agents) as “The Neighborhood Hotel” or“we” or “us” and we’ll refer to you as either our “Guest” or, simply,“you.”

Let’s start with a few basics:

How to stay like a local in the Neighborhood.

There are so many awesome things to see, do,eat, and drink just steps away from your Rental Unit. You can find all thatcool stuff in your Neighborhood Guide located in your unit. That’s the funstuff. Here are a few ground rules (thenot as fun stuff):

You’re living like a local, be respectful of the other locals.

All of our Rental Units are smoke-free environments.

We can allow approved pets but we’ll have to charge a fee to accommodate your furry friend. We love animals but we love our unitsmore. However, if your fur kid is a service animal, give us a call and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your needs, as required bylaw.

Your friend, your responsibility. If you invite them to your Rental Unit, you’re responsible for their actions. We want you to be able to accommodate everyone but there are occupancy rules The Neighborhood Hotel must follow. Help us follow the rules and check out the occupancy requirements for your Rental Unit. If you exceed it, don’t worry! Send us an email at info@nbhdchi.com - and we’ll get you one of our bigger Rental Units, if available.

We’ve got you! If you need something, send us an email at info@nbhdchi.com.

Take only memories, leave the furniture, fixtures and accessories, linens, towels, etc. behind. It’s a total pain to have to replace them.

Please take one last look around before you head home as fees are associated with sending you your belongings.

This part sucks, but should you break anything, really mess something up, or decide to stay longer than your agreed upon length of stay, we have the right to charge you additional fees.

Other than that, almost anything goes (using basic common sense, of course). So, get out there and explore the Neighborhood!Need some advice on local eats, activities, etc.? We’re happy to help. We want allour guests to have the most amazing stay. Thank you for choosing The Neighborhood Hotel.

Here are the basic terms and conditions for your stay, as well as a list of fees associated with each violation of this Agreement:

A: Legally speaking, our policy says you willnot be entitled to a refund. HOWEVER, we like to be user friendly so please letus know as soon as you can and we’ll try to get the unit re-booked to someoneelse who is ready to stay. If that’s thecase, we’ll work with you to give you as much of a refund as we can based onthe difference in booking amounts.

BUT, the amount of any refund you might getwill depend on the rate at which you booked your Reservation and the number ofnights of your Reservation. IF we’re able to re-book the Rental Unit you arecanceling, then we’ll refund you the amount per night we were able to re-book,up to the amount you booked your reservation.

BUT, the lawyers want us to make it clear thatyou are not guaranteed a refund, and The Neighborhood Hotel has no obligationto re-book or to attempt to re-book the unit. But, if we do, and we rent itout, you’ll be eligible for a partial refund. That’s the best we can do forthese types of cancellations.
