Inside, the open-plan living and kitchen area blends modern style with cozy charm. The kitchen is thoughtfully appointed with a wide range of spices, cookware, bakeware, and fresh-roasted coffee beans from just a few miles away. A central island provides additional prep space and informal dining for four. The living area is anchored by a gas fireplace, a wide-screen TV, a leather recliner, and a crazy-comfy sofa that converts to a full-size bed.

Two glass French doors lead to an amazing three-season porch featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a sectional, two lovely wood rocker chairs, and a dining table for six. Please note that during winter months, this porch section will likely be too cold to utilize. Outside, a deck offers a gas grill and dining for four, leading to a large backyard complete with a fire pit, hammock, another dining table, and a wood glider swing. The most impressive highlight is the wonderful platform perched just above the lakeshore, perfect for lounging to the sound of the waves.

Located in a heavily wooded area, Corny Cottage is a short drive or stroll from the nearest beach, providing a real South Shore experience with the attention to detail of a high-end rental without the stuffiness.
