Welcome to your new favorite vacation destination! Discover the Evangeline Cottage, a rustic and spacious retreat nestled on 2.5 acres of beautiful green scenery right on the Vermilion Bayou in the heart of Lafayette, Louisiana.

This fully renovated, century-old home blends modern hospitality with a slice of history, featuring original beautiful hardwood floors throughout and a completely renovated bathroom. The cottage is designed for comfort and versatility, making it an ideal choice for a family getaway, a productive work trip, or any adventure that brings you to the city.

Sleeping Arrangements: The cottage features 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 6 guests. The sleeping configurations include one King bed, one Queen bed, and one Full (Double) bed.

Location & Neighborhood: Situated on the serene banks of the Vermilion Bayou, the property is surrounded by nature's beauty. Guests can enjoy the open grounds or explore the local culture of Lafayette. While the cottage is located off a main roadway, the owners are currently planting trees and designing a landscape to serve as an extra sound buffer to ensure a peaceful stay.

Practical Info & Rules: Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. A $150 refundable security deposit is required. The primary guest must upload a valid government-issued photo ID and sign a renter agreement prior to arrival. Guests are provided with three private parking spots. Please note that the outdoor areas are shared with other cottage guests and property management. We ask that guests keep away from the cottage in the corner of the property, as it is currently undergoing renovation.
