By reserving both Haus Magdeburg and Haus Zugspitze, your group enjoys the best of both worlds: two stunning, newly renovated side-by-side homes that provide spacious comfort and privacy for large families, reunions, or groups traveling together. Situated at the top of a private road, these homes are close enough to walk into town yet quiet enough to feel worlds away.

This expansive retreat features 10 bedrooms, 18 beds, and 6 bathrooms, comfortably welcoming 16 or more guests. Haus Magdeburg is designed for high-capacity hosting with king beds, queen bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa. It boasts a movie room with six recliners, a game room with air hockey, and a kitchenette. Haus Zugspitze offers a more intimate layout, including a king studio with a private living room, a kitchenette, and additional cozy bedrooms with sleeper sofas. Both cabins are elevated with quartz countertops and oversized decks for lounging and dining.

Outdoor living is central to the experience here. Guests can explore four acres of wooded property, relax by the outdoor fire pit at Haus Magdeburg, or utilize the propane BBQ grills for open-air meals. Being just steps from downtown Helen, you are minutes away from the world-famous Oktoberfest celebrations, the magical Christkindlmarkt in December, and tubing down the Chattahoochee River from May through September. You are also perfectly positioned for visits to Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, and Yonah Mountain Vineyards.

Practical details include a check-in time of 3:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM. Please note that this is a family-focused property where parties are strictly prohibited. Parking is available for up to 11 cars shared between both homes. Guests should be aware that the final 1/8 mile of the private drive is a steep incline and very dark at night. As a rustic mountain retreat, the property is surrounded by nature; wildlife sightings, including bears and insects, are part of the authentic experience. Certain digital locks are reserved for staff and should not be opened.
