About Property

Discover the ultimate escape at Shadow Bend, a one-of-a-kind modern cabin tucked beneath magnificent Live Oaks at the water’s edge in Lacy-Lakeview, Texas. As the flagship of the luxury cabins at Live Oak Lake, this retreat is carefully nestled in nature, offering a seamless blend of serenity and sophistication for the discerning traveler.

The cabin is thoughtfully designed with a layout that maximizes space and light. Sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms with a total of two beds: a cozy bedroom off the kitchen featuring a full bed and a small closet, and a loft area accessible via black spiral stairs featuring a queen bed with ample space to unpack and relax. The home is completed by one bathroom tiled in slate, featuring a soaker tub/shower combo.

Inside, the interior is tastefully designed with mid-century modern furnishings and fine Scandinavian-inspired finishes. Floor-to-ceiling gable glass floods the space with warm natural light and provides a commanding view of Live Oak Lake. The micro chef’s kitchen is equipped with luxury appliances, including a Bosch Speed Oven and Fisher & Paykel fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, all complemented by spectacular Charcoal Soapstone Quartz counters. While there is no TV to encourage engagement with the surrounding nature, guests enjoy super high speed internet throughout the home.

Outdoor living is a highlight of the experience. Huge glass sliders open to a concrete wrap-around deck with comfy patio chairs and a smokeless Tiki fire pit. A hammock sways gently in the trees, and lush sod leads guests directly to the water’s edge. Just a short walk away is the Waters Edge Commons, where guests have access to a state-of-the-art container pool, a wood pergola with swings, and a propane grill. A short stone path leads to a public dock for fishing or paddling in complimentary kayaks and paddle boards.
