This is to ensure that if there is any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you, our guest, will have the option of cancelling the booking penalty free as we have a Strict Cancellation policy. - The Homestay space you are booking is for a MAXIMUM OF SIX PERSONS (including children.) No EXTRA ADULT or children, as overnight visitors. It will be very clean on your arrival, and I ask that you leave it neat and free of rubbish on your departure; for if a greater cleaning service is required, then an extra fee will be charged.
- PLEASE No shoes within the house.
- TRASH – We have a bench-type trash bin outside the front door, which gets picked up every morning, EXCEPT WEDNESDAYS. Please note that they will only TAKE CLOSED REGULAR TRASH BAGS, NOT SMALL GROCERY OR WALMART BAGS. There is also a large trash dumpster in the parking lot at the corner of Comrow St, as you exit the complex.
- KEEP NOISE to a minimum after 10pm.
- Please NO FOOD OR DRINKS in the bedrooms, as any spills can cause extra cleaning fees for you, and it makes it hard to prepare the home for our next guests, on time.
- PETS: NO PETS ARE ALLOWED. If you are found to have brought a pet, Airbnb will be notified and you will be asked TO VACATE THE PROPERTY, WITHOUT A REFUND.
- SMOKING: To maintain a fresh and healthy environment, this is a strict non-smoking premise. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied.
- CONDIMENTS: We may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.
- Please do not rearrange our FURNITURE.
- NO PARTIES ARE ALLOWED, for any reason. If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY, WITH NO REFUND. -DRUGS: If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
- FIRE SAFETY - please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes air conditioners (turn up appropriately), fans, hair straighteners and portable device chargers. Fire can be a real threat when these items are left on. Also, NO CANDLE burning.
- This is a family oriented and child friendly home, however children and infants must be under ACTIVE SUPERVISION BY A PARENT, OR GUARDIAN, AT ALL TIMES. All responsibility and duty of care for them must be provided by you, including their personal equipment and needs.
- Please let us know immediately if something is MALFUNCTIONING so it can be rectified. Appliances, such as washer/dryers, air conditioners and the like, do break from time to time. If this happens during your stay, we will do everything we can to get it rectified quickly. However, all damages or missing items will need to be paid for by you before departure. ACCIDENTS HAPPEN, so please let us know if something accidentally gets broken.
- Lastly, because this is an Airbnb home not a hotel, and is also our home, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave. You have read it this far, THANK YOU for being a SUPER GUEST! Please reply back with my favorite quote: "EXPECT NOTHING, APPRECIATE EVERYTHING." so that I know that the house rules have been reviewed
