About Property

Discover the essence of romantic simplicity and raw beauty at Lazy Moose Lodge, a stunning retreat located in Tällberg, Dalarnas län. This is not just a place to stay—it’s a place to feel, where every season invites you to slow down, breathe in the fresh forest air and enjoy a truly lazy stay.

Built in 2023 as a true tribute to Swedish building heritage, the lodge is constructed with solid 20 cm timber logs and authentic dalaknutar in the corners. The interior layout is intentionally intimate, featuring one bedroom with a comfortable double bed, one bathroom, and capacity for 2 guests. The house is designed for those who appreciate light, flow, and honesty, featuring an open structure with no doors between the main rooms and an open connection between the bedroom and bathroom. Architectural character is found in the raised floor of the sitting area, though guests should mind their footing when stepping down into the bathroom.

The living space seamlessly blends comfort and luxury. A large kitchen with premium appliances and a high-seated table invites long meals and deep conversations, while the cozy sitting room is anchored by a warming fireplace. For those seeking moments of creativity or calm, a dedicated study space is perfect for writing or remote work. The luxurious bathroom serves as a sanctuary, boasting a double rainfall shower and a freestanding bathtub with views into the surrounding forest. For added convenience, there is also a separate guest toilet.

To enhance your stay, the lodge is equipped with high-speed fiber internet and a high-quality Sonos sound system for your favorite music. Entertainment options include a high-definition TV and a handpicked movie selection accessible via a classic DVD player.

Guest access is streamlined with a key code for flexible self-check-in starting at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Your visit includes a digital guidebook, a starter set of essentials, a small welcome gift, fresh towels, and made beds. Please note that pets are not allowed. Because this is a living home of natural timber, the logs may settle and shift, with small gaps being a natural part of its soul.

Welcome to Lazy Moose Lodge, where traditional craftsmanship meets modern luxury in the heart of nature.
