Discover the perfect getaway at our inviting chalet located in the heart of Mékinac in Mauricie, Quebec. Situated very close to the Batiscan River, this charming retreat is designed for those seeking a relaxing moment, a productive remote-work environment, or an adventurous base to enjoy the diverse activities of the region.
The chalet is thoughtfully laid out to comfortably accommodate 6 guests. The sleeping arrangements include three bedrooms: two closed bedrooms and a third bedroom located on the mezzanine, each furnished with a queen size bed. The home features one bathroom equipped with eight large towels and eight washcloths.
Our space is outfitted with a variety of features to ensure a comfortable stay:
- Full kitchen amenities including a raclette oven and fondue kit
- Coffee machine
- Two dedicated desks for remote work, located on the mezzanine and in a closed bedroom
- Indoor and outdoor fireplaces
- Wall-mounted air conditioning in the common living area
- Hot tub

- Smart TV, small portable speaker, and board games
Located in Saint-Adelphe, the property is a gateway to endless outdoor exploration. In the summer and autumn, guests can enjoy hiking on nearby trails, swimming at a sandy beach 15 minutes away, or engaging in rafting, via ferrata, and fishing on the Batiscan River. September visitors are just 15 minutes from the St-Tite Western Festival. When winter and spring arrive, the area transforms into a playground for cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing, complemented by visits to local sugar shacks and microbreweries. The renowned Mauricie National Park is also reachable within 45 minutes.

- Hot tub towels are not included; guests staying three days or longer are responsible for hot tub maintenance
- Access Note: The private road is steep and unpaved. In winter or spring, if the sloping entrance is difficult to climb, parking is available at the bottom of the slope, approximately fifteen meters from the chalet. Please drive slowly.
- River Access: Please exercise caution when accessing the river in summer, as the descent can be dangerous and may be impossible during high water levels.

- Before checkout
- Empty the dishwasher
- Put back the outdoor chairs and stack them on the right side of the cabin.
- Make sure the equipment used is clean.
- Make sure the hot tub cover is securely closed with the straps and the temperature is set to 95°F.
- Make sure the indoor fireplace door is closed and that there are no more embers.
