Our home uses a septic system rather than a city sewer. To keep everything running smoothly during your stay, we kindly ask that you follow these simple guidelines:
- Please flush only toilet tissue. All other items—including "flushable" wipes, feminine products, paper towels, and cotton pads—should be placed in the provided waste bins.
- Kitchen Care: Please do not pour grease, cooking oils, or food scraps down the kitchen sink. These can easily clog the system.
- Laundry & Water: To avoid overwhelming the system, please space out laundry loads (if applicable) rather than running multiple back-to-back cycles.

Pet Policy Prior Approval: Maximum of 2 Well-behaved, house-trained dogs under 40 lbs are welcome with pre-approval and a paid pet fee.
Health & Hygiene: All pets must be current on flea and tick prevention. Please use hose on bottom patio with designated pet towels to clean paws after lake visits.
Furniture & Beds: To protect our finishes, pets are strictly prohibited from all furniture and bedding.
Waste Cleanup: Please pick up and dispose of all pet waste in the outdoor trash.
Liability: Guests are financially responsible for any pet-related damages or excessive cleaning.
Hot Tub and Safety Regulations:
- Guests are asked to shower before entering the hot tub.
- No glass, pets, or smoking in or near the hot tub.
- Children must be supervised at all times near the hot tub, fire pit, and lake dock.
- The hot tub must be covered when not in use.
Grilling: The grill is a shared amenity. Please scrub the grill after each use with the provided brush. Keep it covered when not in use in case it rains.
Additional Rules:
No loud parties, please be respectful of neighbors. Always wear a life jacket on lake Please remove shoes in the house
- Before checkout
Start the dishwasher. Leave linens on the beds. The cleaners will strip the beds. Leave towels on the floor of the bathroom. Set the thermostat to 75°F (Summer) or 65°F (Winter). Set hot tub temperature to 100°F Lock up and have a safe trip home!
