This cozy lakeside cottage is designed for comfort and tranquility. The sleeping arrangements consist of 1 bedroom featuring a very comfortable queen bed with ample closet space and extra linens. The home includes 1 bathroom with hot showers and a bright, comfy living room equipped with a large sectional couch that serves as great extra sleeping space. The cute kitchen is outfitted with diner style appliances, essential cookware, and a table perfect for family meals or a creative writing project, featuring a window over the sink with a lovely view of the lake. Please note that the kitchen's dropped ceiling is 6 ft.

Located in a serene setting, the property is just 15 minutes to Chester, 25 minutes to Mahone Bay, 35 minutes to Halifax, and 40 minutes to both Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. Guests are also just a short drive from the stunning white sand beaches of the South Shore. You are welcome to bring your own kayak or canoe to enjoy the lake, though please be aware that swimming and power equipment are not permitted on the water.

No smoking of any kind is permitted in or near the building. Please smoke away from the decks on the property (standing on the deck is likely still too close). No events of any kind are permitted in the unit. Please be mindful of neighbours, particularly after 10 pm. Please disclose how many guests will be staying in the unit. We're happy to host everyone, but we'll need to know who to expect. For your safety, please do not tamper with or attempt to open the locked utility spaces or anything labelled (Do Not Open). If you have any questions or concerns about the space, please disclose them immediately so we can offer you fantastic assistance and hospitality. Please do not attempt to climb, move or enter the old sailboat on the property. Use of the fire pit and the lake is done at your own risk. All bookings also require a refundable security deposit to be paid before check-in. There is one room inside the cottage that is locked. This is a storage room belonging to the owner; we ask that you please not attempt to open this door or tamper with the lock. The bathroom sink does not have hot water, but you will find plenty of hot water throughout the rest of the cottage. The bathroom also does not have a power supply, but you are welcome to plug in devices in other areas of the cottage.
