About Property

Discover the serene beauty of Still Waters SML, a beautiful six-bedroom contemporary home perfectly positioned in Goodview, Virginia. Located just five minutes by water from the Hales Ford Bridge in Bedford County, this retreat offers deep water access, wonderful swimming opportunities, and great bass fishing right from the dock.

The home is designed for ultimate comfort and entertainment across three levels. The sleeping arrangements include 6 bedrooms and 10 beds, supported by 4.5 bathrooms. On the main level, you will find two primary suites that each walk out to their own decks overlooking the lake; one of these suites features an antique claw-foot tub and a standalone shower. The upper level provides two additional bedrooms—one equipped with a TV/DVR/VCR and the other featuring a TV and PlayStation—along with a dedicated game area filled with books, movies, and board games. The lower level houses two large bedrooms, both of which offer the luxury of walking out onto private patios.

Entertainment is central to the Still Waters experience. The lower level boasts a 1960s-era theater room with 17 seats and a massive 10' projection screen delivering true HD 1080p quality, with inputs available for your own gaming consoles. This level also includes ping-pong and air hockey tables, as well as a treadmill and cardio glide for those staying active. The main level features a well-equipped kitchen with a double oven and an adjoining dining area, while the living room provides expansive views of the shimmering water.

Outdoor living is a highlight, with lake access via the lower level leading to a shared dock and floating sun dock. Guests can enjoy a covered sitting area, picnic tables, a swing, and the use of provided kayaks and a paddleboat. Please note that while there is electric on the dock, boat lifts are not for guest use, and there is space on the floater to dock one boat.
