Fireplace: If you never used a wood burning fireplace, DON'T! You MUST inquire before starting a fire inside the fireplace. ONLY hardwood (firewood) maybe used and nothing wet as it will cause too much steam inside the fireplace. We have a video you can watch to safety operate the fireplace. Any smoke damage will be the responsibility of the guests. The fireplace is to be used at your own risk and when burning must never be left unattended.

Fire Pit: The fire pit is to be used at your own risk and when burning must never be left unattended. There may be some wood provided but please replace what is used. NEVER move the fire pit to any other location in the yard.

Fireplace: We have specific instructions to follow. Please inquire before starting any fires inside. Guests will be 100% responsible for any smoke damages to the property. If you never used a indoor fireplace, don't.

Well Water on Property: Our water is from a hand dug Well and unlike Municipality water you WILL run out if abused. There is more then enough water for the property during your stay but wasting water will leave you without any. Consider conserving water with quick showers and not wasting water with the garden hose outside. Use the laundry and/or dishwasher at different times or during off peak times. In the event this happens the well may take a few hours to refill. The owners can coach the guest on how to restore pressure which is easy to achieve.

Like any respectable host we strive to earn your FIVE STAR review rating on the Airbnb platform. After your stay kindly let other guests know about your experiences.

Thank you for staying at Hemlock Hideaway!
