Whether you are looking to wake up to hot coffee and nature or spend your evening soaking up the sunshine on the deck, this cabin provides the perfect home base for your high-altitude adventures.

Designed for comfort and tranquility, the lodge features a cozy layout with 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, and 1 bathroom, comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests. Inside the 624 sq ft space, you can cozy up by the easy-to-use pellet stove in the living room or enjoy entertainment on the 50-inch RokuTV with streaming capabilities. Step outside to find a front deck and a propane fire pit, ideal for gazing at the beautiful starry skies.

Location and Adventure The lodge is perfectly situated for outdoor enthusiasts. You are just a 5-minute drive from the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, an International Dark Sky Park with numerous trails. Explore the 34-million year old fossils at the Florissant Fossil Quarry during summer and fall, or head to Mueller State Park for hiking and biking. For water activities, Eleven Mile Canyon Reservoir offers boating, kayaking, and tubing, while Lake George is just 10 minutes away for those wishing to hike the 17-mile Eleven Mile Canyon Route. For a change of pace, the historic mining town of Cripple Creek is only 30 minutes away for gambling or visiting the winter Ice Castles. Other nearby attractions include the S. Platte River's "Dream Stream" for world-class angling, the Crags, and Pikes Peak Highway.

Practical Information Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Please note that the cabin is located at 8,500 feet in elevation and does not have A/C; however, the mountain breeze keeps the interior cool. The property is accessible year-round, though the final few miles are on well-maintained county dirt roads. AWD or 4WD vehicles are highly encouraged, especially during winter months. Parking is plentiful and can accommodate several vehicles, including an RV.

House Rules We are proud to be pet-friendly for up to two pets, and pets stay free! To respect our neighbors' chickens and goats and adhere to Teller County leash laws, all dogs must remain leashed. We kindly ask that you clean up after your pets outdoors and keep them off the furniture.
