Discover a relaxing getaway in our historic cabin where the old meets the new in Grand Lake, Colorado. This 90-year-old sanctuary was originally constructed in the 1930s as a summer residence for workers building Lake Granby, and it has since been revamped with a modern twist inspired by wildflowers. Unwind, explore, and relax in our wonderland, featuring great views of Rocky Mountain National Park and easy year-round access by car.
Sleeping arrangements include 3 bedrooms with 3 beds and 1 bathroom, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. The interior blends original charm—such as character-filled squeaky floors and single-pane windows—with contemporary updates. The brand-new full bathroom features a walk-in shower with a rain shower head, while the kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and a large sink, stocked with basic cooking essentials. Guests can also enjoy a small beverage station providing coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.

Please note that this cabin is located adjacent to the highway, so guests will hear highway noises and may not find absolute silence or seclusion. Due to the historic nature of the structure, the cabin can be drafty in winter; we recommend bringing layers and wool socks. For winter travel (November through March), a 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended for Berthoud Pass.
