Escape to The Slipway, a beautiful pet-friendly thatch-roof cottage nestled in the serene coastal town of Arniston, Western Cape. This inviting retreat is perfect for families, offering a huge garden where children and pets can play freely in a secure, open environment.

The property is thoughtfully configured with 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 2 bathrooms to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. The main house features open-plan living areas, including a kitchen, lounge, and TV room that opens onto a covered stoep complete with a dining table and comfortable seating. Within the main house, you will find two bedrooms and a bathroom equipped with a bath. For added privacy, a separate outside cottage serves as the third bedroom, featuring its own en-suite bathroom with a bath.

Experience the unique charm of the outdoors with a hot outdoor shower located inside an old water tank, allowing you to rinse off under the stars. For those cozy evenings, the home offers two indoor fireplaces, while the covered outdoor braais ensure you can enjoy traditional South African grilling regardless of the weather.

Arniston provides a tranquil backdrop for your stay, blending natural beauty with a relaxed pace of life. Whether you are lounging in the expansive garden or exploring the local scenery, The Slipway offers a genuine sense of home.

Practical Information & Rules:

• Check-in: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Check-out: 10:00 AM
• Pets are welcome
• Access: Keys are collected via a lockbox at the office; instructions are sent prior to arrival
• Self-Catering: This is a fully self-catering home. Bed linen, bath towels, blankets, a braai grid, basic dish soap, hand soap, two refuse bags, and two toilet rolls per toilet are provided. Guests should bring beach towels, firewood, firelighters, extra load-shedding lights, additional cleaning supplies, and all food and spices.
• Important: Please use only single-ply toilet paper to protect the local septic tank systems.
• Restrictions: The loft, laundry room, storerooms, and certain owner cupboards are not available for guest use.
