The back deck is equipped with a gas grill, and because there are no other houses within a mile, the stargazing from either deck is spectacular without any intrusive light.

You are just 2 miles from the San Miguel River at Placerville and less than 20 miles from Telluride, Ridgway, and Norwood. Whether you enjoy mountain biking at Telluride Bike Park, kayaking and rafting on the San Miguel River, or fly fishing on the Dolores or Uncompahgre Rivers, the opportunities are unlimited. For those who prefer to stay close to home, there is a trail up and down Leopard Creek and an old mining road just steps from the front door.
