Discover a charming countryside escape at Stable Cottage at High Forest Cottages, a delightful dog-friendly retreat nestled in the ancient North Ridge of The New Forest National Park in Redlynch, Wiltshire. This peaceful hideaway is the ideal base for those looking to immerse themselves in the unique beauty of the forest, from exploring quaint villages to enjoying long nature walks.

This self-contained, single-level home features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. The sleeping arrangements are flexible, as both bedrooms can be configured with either a superking sized bed or two single beds. For added comfort, all bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and finished with luxury cotton sheets and microfibre duvets. The shower room includes a large walk-in shower and fluffy white towels.

The heart of the home is a beautiful and spacious open-plan living area, kept cozy by underfloor heating and a log burner. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing a full Sunday roast, featuring a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and an electric hob. A large dining table provides ample space for six guests to gather for dinner conversations. For entertainment, the lounge includes a large Smart TV and a Blu-Ray player.

Step outside to a lovely large patio garden enclosed by a 4ft high fence and hedge, offering a private spot for morning coffee or alfresco dining with the BBQ. The property also provides parking for three cars and access to a shared guest laundry with a washing machine and dryer.

Located within the forest boundary, the cottage is surrounded by stunning wildlife, where famous ponies, cattle, and occasional herds of deer roam the paddocks. Guests can enjoy direct access to open heathland, forested areas, and rivers. The surrounding area is a haven for cyclists and hikers, with various local pubs and a village shop just 2 miles away.

• Pets: Dogs are welcome with an additional charge of £25 per stay for up to two dogs (contact host for larger packs).

Dog Rules:

• Dogs must never be left unattended (security deposit forfeited if breached).
• Dogs are allowed throughout the cottage but must stay off the beds (£100 replacement fee applies).
• Please clean muddy paws and bring your own dog towels, bowls, and beds.
• Dogs must be toileted outside the gates; waste must be bagged and binned.
• Puppies under one year must be crated at night.
• Dogs must remain on leads outside the enclosed garden.

Families are welcome with available travel cots, high chairs, baby baths, and bottle sterilisers upon request.
