Welcome to The Groovy Nomad, a locally owned and operated 1960s retro motel in Trenton, Georgia. Renovated in 2022, this unique destination is nestled in the mountains and serves as the perfect home base for those visiting the many fun activities Chattanooga, Tennessee has to offer. Specifically, the Havana Room #10 is inspired by 1960s Havana, blending tropical themes, bold color, and a laid-back island vibe to create a vibrant getaway filled with music, style, and the spirit of old Cuba.

This room provides a comfortable layout featuring 1 bedroom with 2 full size beds and 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 4 guests. The space is thoughtfully equipped with high-end finishes and room-specific details including a 50" TV, a Keurig with complimentary water, coffee, creamers, and sugar, a mini fridge, and a microwave. Guests will find the unit fully stocked with fresh linens and a starter set of toiletries consisting of soaps, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. For added convenience, a blow-dryer, extra hangers, and a small clothes steamer are provided. The room is climate-controlled via a mini split system with a remote control.

While the property is located in the quiet mountains of Trenton, it is just minutes away from Chattanooga's best attractions. You are a short drive from the cascading waterfalls of Cloudland Canyon State Park, the panoramic views of Rock City Gardens and Lookout Mountain, the underground wonders of Ruby Falls, and the world-class Tennessee Aquarium. For those looking to explore downtown Chattanooga, the Riverwalk and various breweries and shops are easily accessible.

Practical details for your stay include a check-in time of 3:00 PM and a check-out time of 10:00 AM. For an additional $20 fee, a guaranteed early check-in at 2:00 PM can be requested via text after booking. Each room features a smart lock for seamless entry, and door codes are sent three hours prior to arrival. Please note that we have a strict no pet policy and quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Additionally, the Georgia State Park Pass must remain in the room upon departure to avoid a $75 fee. Guests are also invited to enjoy the courtyard located near the office during their stay.
