IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES AND INFORMATION
At Fantasy Vacation Rentals, we do everything possible to prepare the home so that your stay is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. Our team is friendly, helpful, and always available to assist you whenever needed.
Please read the following important information and house rules before your arrival and share them with everyone in your group.
Each vacation home is privately owned and may occasionally be used by the owner and their family. We kindly ask that you respect the property, its furnishings, and its surroundings as if they were your own.
Please remember that staying in a vacation home is different from staying in a hotel. The home includes a limited starter supply of essential items, as described under Starter Kit in the listing. These supplies are intended primarily for the first night of your stay.
For additional groceries, food, toiletries, cleaning products, and personal supplies, we recommend visiting a nearby grocery store or using a grocery delivery app to save time.
The primary guest is responsible for ensuring that everyone in the group, including children and visitors, follows these rules.
PARKING POLICY: VEHICLE TYPES AND LIMITS
Standard passenger cars, SUVs, and passenger vans with a maximum capacity of up to 16 passengers are permitted, subject to the rules of the specific community.
Vehicles displaying commercial signs, logos, advertising, equipment, or business identification are not permitted.
Buses, cargo trucks, moving trucks, recreational vehicles, trailers, jet ski or boat trailers, vehicles being towed, and vehicles used for towing are not permitted.
Each community establishes a vehicle limit per home. The limit may vary depending on the property, community, and time of year. If your group will be arriving in multiple vehicles, please contact us in advance so we can confirm the limit that applies to your reservation.
Vehicles may need to be registered with the community before arrival. Please provide all requested driver and vehicle information by the established deadline.
Always follow posted community parking rules. Do not block sidewalks, pedestrian walkways, fire lanes, gates, neighboring driveways, or trash collection areas.
Do not park on grass, landscaping, restricted areas, or in numbered spaces assigned to another property.
Electric vehicles may not be charged through a regular household or garage outlet unless the property has an authorized charging station or you have received written permission from Fantasy Vacation Rentals.
Failure to follow the community parking rules may result in the vehicle being towed without notice. Towing charges, parking citations, and community fines are the guest's responsibility.
BATHROOMS
These items can cause serious plumbing blockages. Plumbing services required because of improper use may be charged to the guest.
Bathtubs and showers: Drain the bathtub completely after use and remove toys, hair, or other objects that could block the drain.
Use shower curtains and shower doors properly to prevent water from leaking onto the bathroom floor. Water left outside the tub or shower can damage flooring, walls, and ceilings.
Please report slow drains, leaks, overflowing toilets, or plumbing problems immediately so we can prevent additional damage.
Towels, hand towels, and washcloths: A bath towel will be provided for each registered guest. For longer stays, guests may wash towels using the home's washer and dryer.
Do not use towels or washcloths to clean floors, shoes, vehicles, makeup spills, hair dye, grease, or other heavily soiled items.
Children must always be supervised while using bathtubs and showers.
BEDROOMS
Please remove trash from the bedrooms regularly. Food and trash left in bedrooms can attract insects and other pests.
Please protect sheets, pillowcases, blankets, comforters, mattresses, and towels from hair dye, makeup, tanning products, body oils, permanent lotions, ink, food, blood, urine, vomit, or other substances that may cause permanent stains.
Special cleaning or replacement of stained or damaged bedding may be charged to the guest.
Do not write, paint, or draw on walls, doors, furniture, or decorations. Do not attach stickers, tape, nails, hooks, adhesive decorations, or similar items to any surface.
Please handle luggage carefully to avoid scratching walls, doors, furniture, and flooring.
Do not jump on beds or furniture. This may cause injuries or damage the bed frame, mattress, or furniture.
Do not move mattresses, bed frames, bedroom furniture, televisions, or decorations.
Decorative pillows, ornaments, blankets, bed coverings, and other decorative items belong to the property and may not be removed or taken as souvenirs.
Children using bunk beds must be supervised by an adult. Do not allow children to jump from the beds, climb on the outside of bunk beds, or play underneath them.
The upper bunk may not be used by anyone exceeding the manufacturer's recommended age or weight limit.
Any condition involving urine, blood, vomit, feces, or other bodily fluids must be reported immediately. Specialized cleaning or replacement required because of these conditions may result in an additional charge.
CHILDREN'S SLIDES
In homes equipped with a children's slide, the slide is intended exclusively for children weighing no more than 150 pounds, approximately 68 kilograms.
Only one child may use the slide at a time.
An adult must supervise children while the slide is being used.
Children must remain seated and slide feet first.
Children may not climb up the sliding surface or stand, jump, push, hang, or engage in rough play on the slide.
Adults may not use the slide, even if they weigh less than the stated weight limit.
Toys, furniture, mattresses, pillows, and other objects may not be placed on or beneath the slide.
Do not use the slide if it appears loose, damaged, wet, blocked, or unsafe.
Please report any problem with the slide immediately. Guests may not attempt to repair, adjust, remove, or relocate it.
LIVING ROOMS, TV ROOMS, THEATERS, AND GAME ROOMS
Please use televisions, arcade machines, pool tables, air hockey tables, theater equipment, video game consoles, and other entertainment equipment carefully and only for their intended purposes.
Do not move televisions or entertainment equipment. Do not disconnect, remove, or reconfigure cables, routers, consoles, controllers, or other electronic devices.
Do not install unauthorized applications, change passwords or parental controls, or make purchases through the property's televisions, streaming services, consoles, or other devices.
Food and drinks should be kept away from televisions, remote controls, arcade machines, pool tables, air hockey tables, consoles, and other electronic equipment.
Do not sit, stand, climb, or place heavy objects on game tables or entertainment equipment.
Before checkout, please turn on each television and leave its corresponding remote control in a clearly visible location next to the television. This helps our inspection team confirm that the equipment is working correctly.
Missing or damaged remote controls, controllers, cables, game accessories, and other equipment may be charged to the guest.
Indoor furniture, game equipment, and electronic devices may not be taken outside.
KITCHEN
Before placing dishes, pans, or utensils in the dishwasher, remove food scraps and rinse heavily soiled items. This helps prevent blockages and damage to the machine.
Do not allow food to dry inside pots and pans. Remove food residue and leave the cookware soaking in water if you are unable to place it in the dishwasher immediately.
The garbage disposal is intended only for small amounts of soft food residue. Do not place lemons, oranges, fruit peels, bones, eggshells, rice, pasta, coffee grounds, grease, oil, metal, glass, plastic, utensils, or other hard or fibrous objects in the disposal.
Never pour grease, cooking oil, coffee grounds, or food residue into the sink or any drain.
Do not place unsuitable items in the dishwasher. Please use only dishwasher-safe dishes, glasses, cookware, and utensils.
Do not cut food directly on countertops. Please use the cutting boards provided.
Do not place hot pots, pans, or baking dishes directly on countertops, tables, or furniture.
Never leave cooking unattended. Turn off the stove, oven, coffee maker, and other kitchen appliances after use.
Please clean spills promptly and store food properly to help prevent stains and pests.
Dishes, glasses, silverware, cookware, utensils, and small appliances belong to the property and may not be removed.
Damage caused by improper use of kitchen appliances, plumbing, cookware, countertops, or other items may be charged to the guest.
LAUNDRY AREA
Please check all pockets before placing clothing in the washer or dryer.
Use only products intended for residential washing machines and dryers.
Do not overload the machines.
Clean the dryer lint filter after each use. Excess lint can affect the machine and create a fire hazard.
Do not wash shoes, rugs, heavy comforters, pillows, pet items, or materials containing excessive sand, grease, paint, chemicals, or hair.
Do not leave the washer or dryer operating while no one is at the property.
Please report leaks, unusual noises, error messages, or other problems immediately. Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the machines.
SWIMMING POOL AND SPA
Children and anyone who cannot swim must be actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Keep all pool doors, gates, screens, alarms, and safety barriers properly closed and secured.
Diving, running, pushing, and rough play are not permitted.
Glass containers are strictly prohibited in and around the pool and spa areas.
Please wear appropriate swimwear made from materials intended for swimming. Regular clothing may release fibers, affect the water quality, and make the water appear cloudy.
Fantasy Vacation Rentals is not responsible for discoloration or damage to clothing caused by chlorine or other properly maintained pool chemicals.
Please remove all toys, floats, and personal items from the pool and spa after use. Do not leave objects floating in the water or resting on the bottom of the pool.
Do not add soap, bubble bath, oils, shampoo, dye, chemicals, or any other product to the pool or spa.
Do not touch or adjust breakers, valves, pumps, filters, drains, pool heating equipment, thermostats, sensors, or any exterior equipment. This may create a serious safety risk or damage the system.
If you need assistance or an adjustment, please contact us. We will be happy to help.
Pool and spa heating is available only when included in the reservation or purchased and confirmed in writing. Pool heating may require approximately 24 hours to reach the expected temperature and may be affected by weather conditions.
When the spa shares the pool's circulation and heating system, the spa may reach only the same temperature as the pool and may not function as an independent hot tub.
Do not climb, hang, or place objects on the pool screen or enclosure.
Food should not be consumed inside the pool or spa. Guests should not use the pool or spa while excessively intoxicated.
Please report damaged screens, gates, alarms, drains, pool furniture, or equipment immediately.
WEEKLY POOL SERVICE
The pool company follows a weekly service schedule. The technician may enter through the exterior pool or screened enclosure gate without knocking on the front door.
The technician will not need to enter the interior of the home unless a separate service has been arranged.
Chemicals may be added directly to the pool. For everyone's safety, the pool must not be used for at least two hours after chemical treatment, or for any longer period directed by the technician.
Entering the pool too soon after treatment may cause skin or eye irritation. Please follow all safety instructions provided by the technician or Fantasy Vacation Rentals.
Because the pool is outdoors, leaves, pollen, insects, and other natural debris may enter the water between scheduled services. A small amount of natural debris does not necessarily mean the pool was not cleaned or serviced.
Guests may not prevent or interfere with scheduled pool service.
BARBECUE GRILL
The barbecue may be used only when it has been included in the reservation or authorized by Fantasy Vacation Rentals.
Where the barbecue is secured with a chain and padlock, do not cut, break, remove, or damage the lock or chain.
Unauthorized use or damage to the barbecue, lock, or chain may result in an additional charge.
The barbecue must be used only in the designated outdoor area and must remain a safe distance from the home, walls, screens, doors, furniture, and flammable materials.
Never use the barbecue inside the home, garage, or another enclosed area.
The barbecue must be supervised by an adult at all times while in use. Keep children away from the grill and hot surfaces.
Do not use charcoal in a gas grill or use gasoline or other unsafe products to ignite it.
Turn off the barbecue completely after use. Never place hot materials or ashes in a trash container.
TRASH
Please bag your trash securely and place it outside according to the community's collection instructions. Do not allow excessive trash to accumulate inside the home.
When the property has a trash bench or designated container in front of the home, place only securely bagged trash inside it.
Loose or unbagged trash will not be collected by the community and may require additional cleaning. Any related cleaning or removal charge may be passed on to the guest.
Do not leave trash bags on top of the bench, on the sidewalk, or on the ground.
Florida has abundant wildlife. Food waste or trash left outside the designated container may attract animals, which can tear open the bags and scatter the contents.
Do not place hot ashes, chemicals, paint, batteries, sharp objects, or hazardous materials in the household trash.
Do not use a neighboring property's trash container.
Excessive trash or trash requiring special removal after checkout may result in an additional charge.
CARPETS, RUGS, FLOORS, AND FURNITURE
We kindly recommend removing outdoor shoes before walking on carpets or using separate, clean indoor shoes.
Please keep lipstick, hair dye, makeup, tanning products, nail polish, ink, paint, slime, food, drinks, and other staining substances away from carpets, rugs, furniture, and bedding.
Do not place wet towels, wet clothing, or wet swimwear on carpets, rugs, beds, or furniture.
Please do not sit on indoor furniture while wearing wet swimwear.
Do not drag or move furniture across floors.
Indoor furniture may not be taken outside, and outdoor furniture may not be placed inside the pool.
Please report spills and stains immediately. Do not apply bleach, harsh chemicals, or homemade cleaning products without our authorization, as these may cause permanent damage.
Specialized cleaning or replacement required because of a stain or misuse may be charged to the guest.
AIR CONDITIONING
Setting the temperature too low may cause the system's coil to freeze. This can stop the system from cooling properly and may create water leaks that damage walls, ceilings, or flooring.
Maintenance or property repairs resulting from misuse may be charged to the guest.
Lowering the thermostat does not make the air coming from the vents colder. It only causes the system to run for a longer period, which may freeze or damage the equipment.
All exterior doors and windows must remain closed whenever the air conditioning is operating.
Do not cover or block air vents.
Do not tamper with thermostats, breakers, sensors, filters, vents, or air conditioning equipment.
If the home is not cooling properly, please contact us immediately. Do not attempt to repair or adjust the system yourself.
If service is required, please allow our authorized technician reasonable access so the problem can be inspected and corrected.
DOORS, ACCESS, AND AUTHORIZED SERVICES
Please keep the entrance door, patio doors, windows, and pool gates closed and secured when leaving the property.
Do not share the door code with anyone who is not registered or authorized to enter the home.
Do not change, reprogram, remove, or damage locks, doorbells, cameras, alarms, access devices, or security equipment.
Fantasy Vacation Rentals team members and authorized service providers may access the property when reasonably necessary to complete a service requested by the guest, perform necessary maintenance, respond to an emergency, prevent property damage, or address a serious safety concern.
Except in an emergency, we will attempt to notify you before entering.
Upon arrival, our representative will knock or ring the doorbell and announce themselves. If there is no response and access is necessary and authorized, the representative may enter, announce Housekeeping or Maintenance, complete only the required service, and leave promptly.
Pool technicians, lawn care providers, pest control technicians, and other scheduled exterior service providers may access designated exterior areas without entering the interior of the home.
FIRE AND GENERAL SAFETY
Do not disable, cover, disconnect, or remove the batteries from smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, exterior cameras, doorbells, pool alarms, or other safety equipment.
Do not tamper with fire extinguishers.
Candles, fireworks, sparklers, incense, and other open flames are not permitted.
Do not block hallways, stairs, doors, or emergency exits.
Do not store gasoline, propane tanks, or hazardous chemicals inside the home or garage.
Never leave cooking appliances, grills, fireplaces, or heating devices unattended.
If you notice smoke, fire, a gas odor, sparks, or another emergency, call 911 first and then notify Fantasy Vacation Rentals.
PEST PREVENTION
Florida's warm climate is home to many insects and animals. To help keep them outside, please keep doors and screens closed.
Store food properly, clean food spills and crumbs, and remove trash regularly.
Do not feed wildlife or leave food outside.
Please report significant pest activity promptly so we can arrange an appropriate inspection.
Do not bring pesticides, foggers, traps, or chemicals into the property or hire a pest control company without our authorization.
