When booking with Awesome Vacation Homes, Inc. you will receive an email from us requesting that you confirm your contact information and sign your Rental Agreement. The policy will be emailed to you for electronic signature. In addition, the City of Big Bear Lake requires all vacation home renters within the jurisdiction to read, agree to and sign the Good Neighbor Policy. The Good Neighbor Policy is emailed separately, so please be sure to open ALL emails related to your reservation and sign BOTH policies online.

Refusing to sign the agreement(s) is a violation of our House Rules and will cancel your booking. Once you have remitted your signed agreement(s) your reservation will be complete.

When calculating the size of your party be sure to include children. Each child, no matter how young, is counted as 1 person. Code Enforcement in the City of Big Bear Lake is very strict about adhering to the occupancy maximums that are set for each property. Exceeding the maximum occupancy is grounds for eviction and could result in fines.

Upon check-in we will verify your signature with your Government Issued ID.

Note: Airbnb does not allow us to use a flat rate discount on their platform, therefore you will need to either book the exact dates you want and we will refund the midweek rate for one night from your total, or you can book just 2 nights and request that we add the third for you by using an Airbnb trip change request. Be aware that these trip change requests do expire if you don't accept the changes. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We always honor our discounts!

Community Impact Program: At Awesome Vacation Homes, Inc. rental properties, every stay gives back. In partnership with Kind Traveler, your stay results in a donation of $1 per night from you to the Friends of Big Bear Alpine Zoo, a licensed wildlife rehabilitation hospital and conservation education center that treats sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in the Big Bear Valley.
