These purpose-built, self-contained retreats are located within the garden of Maun River Cottage, a beautiful 17th century farmhouse and family home that has been welcoming guests for over 25 years.

Designed and built in 2014 to complement the historic farmhouse, these self-catering holiday lets are small but perfectly formed. The interior features dark wooden beams and an open-plan living and dining area. Guests can enjoy a stylish and fully equipped kitchen and an en-suite bathroom complete with a walk-in shower and a freestanding rolltop bath. The sleeping arrangement consists of 1 bedroom with 1 bed, accommodating up to 2 guests.

Step through the bi-folding patio doors to find a private seating area within the garden, offering stunning rural views over the River Maun and the fields beyond. The garden features an artificial lawn, ensuring the outdoor space can be enjoyed all-year round regardless of the season. Adding to the sense of heritage and pride the property exudes is an original, restored beautiful red telephone box.

Location & Neighborhood Situated right in the centre of Ollerton Village, the property boasts an enviable location. Guests are just a very short walk from three lovely local pubs, a superb Italian restaurant, and an award-winning tearoom positioned next to a quaint watermill and stream. For those looking to explore, the area is ideal for visiting National Trust sites, country parks, and estates. Nearby attractions include Rufford Country Park (2 miles), Sherwood Forest (4 miles), Sherwood Pines (4 miles), Clumber Park (7 miles), Newark Castle (13 miles), and Nottingham city centre (19 miles).
