House, HOA & City rules and guidelines The purpose of these guidelines is to help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable stay while being respectful of the surrounding community. For this reason, house, HOA, and City rules apply, and fines may be levied for infringements. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.  

Please remember that most of my neighbors are full-time residents of the neighborhood, so respect them in the same manner you would respect your neighbors back home.
 Soft background music outdoors is fine. We ask that guests avoid loud music, parties, or excessive noise and respect the community’s quiet hours. These requirements are enforced by both the HOA and the City to help maintain a peaceful environment for residents and visitors alike.
No more than the maximum allowed guests are permitted in the house, and no more than the required total number of people can be on property at any time. These are the City of La Quinta rules, not our house rules. 
Parking: 

	The maximum # of vehicles allowed is 3
	RVs, oversized or commercial vehicles, are not allowed
	First, park in the garage and then in the driveway.
	If parking on the street, park opposite the driveway and do not block my neighbor’s access walkway to their house or mailbox.


The golf course property is off-limits unless you are a registered golfer on the Tournament Course in the middle of a round of golf. 

	Guests are not permitted on the golf course property - even after dark or in the morning. Fines for this start at $500.  
	Be mindful of this because even if this home does not have exterior surveillance, another home might report suspicious activity.


Pool/Patio Rules:

	Please do not heat the pool above 85 degrees.  At night turn the heat down to 78 degrees.
	Do not hang swimsuits and towels outside on chairs. Please use the drying rack indoors or just throw in the laundry
	No sleeping outdoors overnight

To help prevent accidents or injuries

No running around the pool
No diving under any circumstances
No food or drink to be consumed in the pool, and no glassware or bottles allowed in the pool. 

We want our guests to enjoy the amenities, but we also want to help prevent accidents or injuries. Should an accident occur because the safety guidelines were not followed, responsibility would rest with the guest.
