This one-of-a-kind vacation home is situated as the main house behind one of Balboa's historical cottages, specifically designed to bring the cozy atmosphere of a mountain cabin to the coast. With vaulted ceilings and open living spaces, it provides a perfect spot to unwind with family and friends after a long day of exploring.

The home features a thoughtful layout across two stories to accommodate up to 6 guests. The ground floor offers a convenient bedroom with a King bed and an ensuite bathroom, making it an excellent choice for children or guests who prefer to avoid stairs. Upstairs, a wood cabin staircase leads to an open-plan living room furnished with comfy chairs, couches, and vintage beach memorabilia, centered around a brick-inlaid fireplace for cooler months. Sleeping arrangements upstairs include a master bedroom with a brand new king size bed and a full ensuite bathroom, as well as a third bedroom featuring two twin beds.

While structured amenities are limited, the property's layout offers several high-end room details. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and a dining table with bench seating. For outdoor relaxation, guests can step onto the deck to catch some sunshine and use the charcoal grill. Practical additions include a new washer and dryer located in the garage, as well as an outdoor beach shower for rinsing off after a day in the surf.

Located in an incredibly safe, family-oriented neighborhood, the lodge is just 1.5 blocks from the beautiful Balboa Bay, boardwalk, and the Balboa Ferry. A quick 5-minute ferry ride connects guests to the Fun Zone's arcades and rides, the Balboa Pier, and various boating excursions. Local highlights include the children's climbing gym and basketball court on Agate street, the boutique shops of Marine Avenue, and the upscale dining at Fashion Island. Beyond the island, Laguna Beach is only 7 miles away, while Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm are approximately 35 minutes from your door.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Please note that pets are not allowed. Guests have access to one shared parking spot in the garage; however, as summer parking on the island can be tricky, guests with multiple vehicles are encouraged to park additional cars nearby.
