This thoughtfully designed two-story cottage is configured with one bedroom featuring a double bed and one full bathroom, accommodating up to four guests. The home utilizes an open-concept, loft-style layout where the bedroom is located on the upper level. Please note that the sleeping area is not fully enclosed and remains open to the main living space below via a staircase. This upper level also serves as a cozy hub, incorporating a small kitchenette, dining area, and seating space. Downstairs, you will find a game lounge and internet access, perfect for both relaxation and remote work.

Step outside to your gorgeous private deck, where a wood-burning stove awaits to keep you warm while you admire the ridgetop and redwood views. It is the perfect setting for alfresco dining under a full sky of stars, accompanied by the gentle, distant sound of ocean waves.

Located in the heart of nature, the cottage provides immediate access to hiking trails leading to the Albion River. You are only five to ten minutes away from world-class destinations including Van Damme State Park, Big River Beach, and Mendocino Headlands State Park, and just 10 minutes from the quaint coastal town of Mendocino.

• Check-out: 10:00 AM
• Quiet hours are strictly observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises
• Pets are not allowed
• A short check-in form and signed rental agreement are required after booking

Additional Details: This home is situated on a shared property with the Vista House. While outdoor common areas are shared, the Sunrise Cottage enjoys its own dedicated deck and assigned parking. Guests also have access to a shared on-site EV charger, which operates during off-peak hours (12:00 AM to 3:00 PM). For security, the property is monitored by two exterior-only security cameras located at the main home's roof and the front gate.
