(ADULTS ONLY, No Kids or Pets Allowed) this is not negotiable!!
Thanks for booking your stay with El Mistico Ranch! You’re free to check in any time after 4PM, but you’ll have to check out by 11AM because that’s when the cleaning crew gets here. We’re glad you booked with us, and we want to make sure you have the best stay possible. Here are the main rules you need to know for Oona GEO Dome:
-
PETS Please Note: We have a strict NO pets allowed policy in our Geo-DOMES. Bringing one will result in loss of reservation with no refund. We do have other units that are pet friendly if you want to bring them along. But do make reservations with time since they may be booked. This is also mentioned in the rules when making your reservation.

Pellet Heater Do’s and Don’ts: You can turn ON/OFF the Pellet Heater on the ON/OFF button or on the remote control. You may control the heat levels from 1 thru 5 arrows on both remote and directly from the unit. We recommend keeping the heater at level 1 or 2 to keep it running all night. If you constantly change it up and down it will not be a constant warm temperature level and pellets will not last long, they will consume faster. Also close the Dome door always to keep the warm temperature inside and the room warms up faster. IMPORTANT: DO NOT let the heater run off pellets, because it will turn off automatically and then it will take time to turn it back up again. Please make sure before you go to bed, to check that it has plenty enough pellets. About ¾ of the way and that the heat level is not in the highest level, so it lasts all night. Also, keep the container door always closed completely and clean of any pellets stuck in between the door so it also keeps running or it will stop. Both pellet doors need to completely shut, so the pellet heater doesn’t stop working or so it continues to work properly. If you are staying longer then 2 days it is best to clean the inside of the heat container, from the front main door. Before you open the door make sure the pellet heater is turned off and it’s not HOT. Open the large front door and make sure it’s not HOT. Then take the ash tray and carefully clean it by dumping it over at the metal trash can next to the Pellet Heater. Then put it back again and make sure it assembles correctly, then close the door tightly, make sure it has pellets and turn it back ON. CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE TOP PART OF THE PELLET HEATER OR LEAVE ANYTHING ON TOP BECAUSE IT IS HOT, ESPECIALLY THE PELLET BAGS!!

The sink in the kitchen does not have a disposal, so please dispose of all leftovers into the trash because the sink will clog. Please be kind and wash your own dishes. 😉
-
Please be mindful of the amount of water used and your time in the shower (showering, washing, etc.) mother nature will thank you.
-
Please Do Not flush feminine products, trash, or disposable wipes in the toilet. Please do not throw too much toilet paper in the toilet to avoid clogging the delicate plumbing. Better to throw it in the trash especially for #1 remember it’s a glamping experience, it’s like camping. Sometimes sink or the toilet may drain slow in the winter especially, this may occur because the lines get frozen. 😉
-
