This single-level home was originally built in 1955 by one of the area's original homesteaders, offering a seamless blend of historic charm and modern comforts. The home's gourmet kitchen and updated bathrooms provide all the luxuries you need, while the original features like the fireplace and hardwood floors maintain the property's authentic character. Outside, you'll find a fenced yard, covered outdoor space, and a seasonal irrigation creek running through the grounds - the perfect setting for wildlife viewing, from deer and elk to black bears and wild turkeys. With a king-sized bed in the master suite, a queen-sized bed in the second bedroom, and bunk beds in the third, this home sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably. Consistent with most Colorado mountain retreats, the home does not have air conditioning, but the cool mountain air and elevation provide natural climate control. We welcome pets at this property, with a maximum of 2 dogs allowed for a fee.
